Read about that in the latest issue of Roundel.
I don't like the idea of it not being a TS2 from ESS...
Look at where the Filter sits relative to the MAF. That's all turbulence.
Nice price for the kit though!!

My ZHP Build 2004-2014 RIP
G-Power: 306hp @ $4,500.
AA Stage 2: 405hp @ $6,200.
VF Engineering: 330hp @ $4,800.
I don't think that this kit is a very good value for the gains. Plus, that orange intake is whack, IMO.

Does not eliminate DISA, pass
I love forced induction but I find the idea of boosting a naturally aspirated engine without a proper bottom-end build is like making a time-bomb. They're just not made to take that much abuse. If it was up to me, I'd go with a turbo charger setup with a bottom-end rebuild.

schmiedmann shows it at under $3000. The Roundel issue I vaguely remember it mentioning under $4000 for the kit.
As far as turbulence goes, It wouldn't really matter too much considering its a supercharger and it compresses the air anyways?
The kit itself is street legal in Germany, which is probably why it would sound pleasing to those over there.
Oh. I thought the website price applied. 3,320 euros.
If it's under $3,000, not bad at all.

For me the ESS TS2 is the way to go...
Pricing is set at $6,850.00 for this kit. For a manual ZHP you an expect to see Horsepower at 355 SAE/360 DIN with Torque of 317 lb-ft/430 Nm.
With a ESS TS2+ 8.5PSI upgrade kit you get the following...Horsepower: 375 SAE/380 DIN and Torque at 342 lb-ft/465 Nm. Pricing for this kit is set at $495.00.
So the TS2 kit and TS2+ kit you end up shelling out $7345 total which amounts to $1145 more than what you would pay for the AA Stage 2 kit. Even though the AA Stage 2 kit is advertised to have more horsepower than the ESS TS2+ setup, you still have the DISA issue as this kit does not eliminate the DISA....something to think about...
The GPower offering is different, and or some, cheap enough to get them into boosting their cars but as JP pointed out, you still have to deal with the DISA issue going this route. With the ESS kit, you eliminate the DISA and all issues associated with that....that's all I'm saying....
Neither ESS model is CARB approved, aka you can't pass visual
