I'm looking to get a carfax report on a zhp for my cousin. What's the best way to do that? I know sometimes I've seen people who have paid for a few extra reports and was wondering if anyone had done that and what they would charge me. Thanks

Does anyone have a universal OBDII scanner they like? My family's Volvo has a check engine light on and we're looking to get a universal OBDII scanner than can work on a Volvo, a Subaru, and a BMW

They’re pretty much all the same (I had a vGate something or other, ELM327 sticks out in my mind), but the iOS compatible ones seem to run on WiFi whereas the Android ones are Bluetooth. I think the general consensus is the scan utility apps on Android are better—Torque Pro being highly recommended.

Gotcha, thanks! The OBDII scanner realm seems like a market flush with a zillion products and it's tough to make heads or tails of what is the best. I also saw this BlueDriver Bluetooth OBDII scanner that has thousands of positive reviews on Amazon, but it is $90 vs a lot of others in the <$25 range. Is that basically all software associated with the scanner?

Anyone have any experience with fixing/replacing their volume knob? Mine was starting to stop giving me feedback from twisting it and now I can only turn on the radio by clicking the bottom of the knob 5-6 times. There's just a millimeter or two of space that you can wiggle it back and forth.
    Easy fix?

Woah, definitely wasn't expecting it to be a $30 part but thanks for the link! I'll be ordering it soon, we'll just see about that 20min install
