Pre-facelift converted ZHP?

Found this on autotrader, it kind of confuses me...

At first I though someone just put ZHP parts on a preface and the listing was wrong, but the VIN matches up to an 04 ZHP.

It looks like they must have converted a ZHP to a pre-facelift front. Maybe after a front end accident? Doesn't look like a great job either. No brake ducts or front fender liners.

I would have put this in for sale, but it's kind of a strange car. Any one have autocheck or something that can see if it's salvaged?

Two owner Texas car. One accident in Sept 2008. Mileage was between 55k - 61k at the time. 9/20/2008 Police report ACCIDENT REPORTED (Case #:082640431) Autocheck says no title issues. Looks like current owner bought the car in Sept 2013 with 71.7k miles. Bank lien. Duplicate title was issued in late 2013. Last mileage was Nov 2013 at 79.4k.

I would proceed with caution.

That is very strange. The car otherwise looks pretty clean, even with those wannabe baller chrome wheels... I know someone else with that nonsense on this forum.

I suppose they wanted to do the headlight upgrade from ZKW-->AL and just took it a little too far...

I looked over the add and have to agree there's something very strange going on regarding that car. Poor ZHP.....

for one thing - clearly it was in a front end collision, those are pre-facelift fenders, lights and hood.

next, the B-pillar covers are not glossy like a ZHP would be.

VIN checks out.

i wouldn't go there.
