Those look like those new VMR 810 flow formed wheels that VMR wanted to install on my car for a shoot.

Will the wheels in my sig fit any e46 and e90? Searching for a new one and would love to keep my BBS's... lots of possibilities out there, looking from a 2003 ZHP through a 2007 330/335/328 maybe even a 325 if I can find a nice manual tranny.

Since they are 17" I figured unless they are highly incompatible, I should be able to use them on both families without any mods to the body.

From my observation, the offset on factory E90 non-M wheels is ~13mm lower than the E46. For example, an E46 staggered 18 (8F, 8.5R) might have ET47, ET50, whereas a comparable set from the E90 will have ET34, ET37. You'd likely need or want to run spacers.

There shouldn't be a need to run spacers. The BBS' are ET38, which is in the compatible range in the middle of E9x fitment it seems.

I don't think that extra 4mm is going to matter much.

You're right, I meant to erase the "need to" and just say "want to." Aesthetically it'll be pretty tucked, but functionally should be a-okay.

So putting mine in an e90 will look more like an ATV than a track car LOL... But in all honesty, will any normal person tell the difference unless they stare at it? I'd think aesthetically 13mm is pretty negligible? More importantly what about the center of gravity for handling etc.... Will there be any difference there?

    Hi guys,

I really like the looks of these wheels but I'm not quite sure they would fit. Any feedback is appreciated

They are the ESR Wheels SR08 Style https://esrwheels.com/products/sr08
I'm looking at getting the 18 x 8.5 with et30. I'm thinking about running a square set, I have stock Sport suspension at the moment. I dont really want to deal with rolling of fenders either. Will these fit?

    Thanks guys!

Another poster on this board runs a set of EC-7 @ 18x9 ET42 (255/35 tire) and a moderate drop (H&R Sport) with no issues. Square ET30 *might* be too much without a roll or pull.

Looks like not many people have tried it, but I'm thinking it would work with a 235 tire. This guy managed with a 245/35 and some rolling/extra camber. You might want to contact Apex and ask them about it since they advertised these as a concave non-m fitment that didn't require fender rolling or extra camber.

Oh here's another dude that pulled it off. Not sure what tire size.
