    Claying your windows.

Just thought I would give detailing novices (like myself) a heads up. I was kicking around the garage.......and clayed all of my windows. I was appalled by the amount of crap that came off my recently cleaned windows.

Anyways....I used an Adams clay bar, and some Meguilers Detailing spray as the lube. Worked pretty well and took me only 15 minutes.

Just wait til you take the car through the rain. You'll see the benefits to claying your windows. You'll bead some pretty decent water

I will try this on my old ass 89 325is, results could be incredible if it will take the 20 plus years of road crime and neglect out of them. I will be getting paint job on it sometime this year and glass cleanup is a must.

Thanks for the reminder. I immediately tried this on my car, and while it did help, I'm still left with some very - VERY - stubborn water spots on my windows. Does anyone have any tips on what works on water spots ?

I've used vinegar and water on my windows in the past with great results. Maybe straight vinegar on the worst of the water spots.
