    WTB: Sedan Trunk Handle

    One of my license plate lights is very corroded and won't light. Need it to pass inspection. Looking for a Sapphire Black trunk handle for a 2004 sedan. PM me or email me,

    I have the same problem, Andrew. I think the cover can be popped off and put on the new unit.

    They are sealed. Possible, but a total pain in the arse. I was about to do that but my problem was something else.

    So EZ Bake oven to get it apart? What do you have to lose when its broken

    After looking at the pictures from ECSTuning.com, it seems that it's clipped together.

    It's clipped, but a pain in the butt to get apart. I bought the piece and was able to swap out the wires/switch/bulb holders pretty easily. PM for details if you need.

    I had to replace the whole piece to fix mine. The plastic was so dried up/corroded that the lenses wouldn't stay in any more.
