    ZHP w/ BBS CH Question

Hi - I am thinking of getting 18x8.5 (square) et 35 CHs for my ZHP, probably with 225/40tires. Tirerack says these may rub without fender rolling. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions? TIA.

p.s. I tried searching but came up with ZERO results.

Lots of people run a 18x8.5 square set-up with an offset between 35-40. However they have a wider tire size then 225. A fender roll would be ideal on the rear quarter panels with a 245 width tire.

Personally I would not run a square set-up with a 225 width tire on all 4 corners.

(front is 18.4, rear is 12 mm wider than stock - borderline?)

Why would you not run a square 225 set up? Tire stretch? Im hoping to not roll my fenders. I do plan on installing bilstein coils, not sure if that may give me more options since Id be able to adjust the ride height.

I'd want more rubber than 225.

Not gonna rub. On those... I'd throw 245's on them.

I ran 18x8.5+40 and 255 tires. I required rolling the fenders to stop rubbing in the rear.

    Fixed.

He wants to put on Bilstein coils though, which will make that setup rub with wider tires.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Lower offset would push the wheel outward more and would rub even worse than the +40. Of course I am speaking about lowered suspension.

This was my clearance on the 18x8.5+40 and 255/35/18 tires in the rear.
