    Ticking while driving

Friday night after I took my wheel spacers off, I noticed a ticking sound as I drove. It only happens when the wheels start moving and the ticking gets faster the faster I go. Any ideas on what this annoying tick is? Almost sounds like when you put a card in bicycle wheel and ride around.

I bet the inside of your rim is rubbing on the shock. Do you have 135's or aftermarket?

How big were the spacers you removed?

I have to 135s and the spacers were 12.5mm. They were on when the coils were installed and haven't come off since until friday

Did you switch back to the stock lug length when you removed the spacers? I had an issue years ago when I swapped wheels where the lugs protruded too far through the hub and gave me a similar issue that you are having.

You know what... I didn't. I didn't even think about that. Damnit. So when you switched back to the stock lugs, it went away?

Yep. It's either that, or your wheels aren't clearing your coilovers.

Yep, all problems went away once I put the correct lugs back in.

    Ticking while driving

Just take that one lug out. You only need like 2 per wheel, right?
