What is the recommended fix for the vanos rattle. Mine has gotten really bad at 66,000 miles now. I know there is beisan and dr vanos not sure of any others. Along with that I'd like to do the disa valve. Does it have to be OEM bmw or is the other one on ECS just as good?

For the Vanos, go for the Beisan rebuild kit+rattle kit. This guy has documented all of his work/research and he's based out of Raleigh.
The G.A.S. rebuild kit for the DISA is very well thought out and literally comes with everything you need down to the q-tip. Very easy DIY.
