It was actually thrown into the east because there is no justification for a midwestern region. Not enough people on this forum live in the midwest. Therefore, I had to make a judgment call. Some states had to get tossed into areas that seem goofy. See Texas, for example. They're in the southwest.
In the future, though, I imagine that a recalibration will take place.
