    Car shipping

Okay all, I'm going to have to ship my car in the near future from Tampa at the Seattle area . So what can you guys give me smart on, since I have never shipped a car before.

So far the enclosed trailer quotes we've gotten are roughly double the cost of an open trailer, and quite expensive. Anybody have any recommended shippers?

    Steve

I don't have any experience with shipping but IIRC there's a company on bimmerforums that offer discounts to members. May be something to check out.

I'll take a look at both of those.

Cool, I hope it is a welcomed (chosen) location and move. Should be a neat area to explore. I tried to get to Ft. Lewis back in the day, but it didn't work out.

Awesome, I'll look into montway. Were you happy with the condition of the car?

We were stationed in Whidbey for 9 years before, so it will be a bit of going home. For only a year though, then off to Japan for 3.
