    Team MFactory LSD

So I was poking around in the e46F performance subforum and someone posted about Team MFactory LSDs. A lengthy and technical discussion ensued and I am really interested to hear what our members think!

The new Vendor has also set up a group buy. The link is in the thread above. GB pricing is $799.99 shipped...too good to be true? Should be an interesting product if it proves to be the real deal...

I've heard they are well known in the Honda Market...but Honda =/= BMW.

Just IMO, until people start beating the living crap out of them it will be the true test of time

Just sent Kpro a text...she said she had one in her turbo Accord. She also broke a lot of axles and it is about to hit 200k with 50k on the Diff. Seems like thats a lot of punishment to me...

But you are right, something like that needs more testing for our market.

How much work is it to uninstall and re-install a diff? MFactory advertise that they'll re-build an E46 open diff with their helical differential for $400 more. Assuming we could put together enough members for a group buy, that would be $800 for the diff + $400 for the rebuild=$1200. For a $1200 (bombproof, streetable) LSD, I'd be willing to put in a few hours under the car.

The e9x community is also anxiously waiting for some reviews on the MFactory LSD. Interested to see how it does
