Because I have wheels in my yard that won't go on the zhp and would work well on the e30 if they were 4 lug instead of 5. #4lugdreamer

I did a ton of research on this back in my E30 days and the general consensus was that people refused to run them because of the potential of them breaking, or something like that. It is one of those things that nobody actually took the time to test, but the track guys were extremely against them, so I went with their opinion (better safe than sorry).
Sorry I can't provide any actual facts though; unfortunately there isn't much real information on the subject.
