I took a chance and got a Blackstone analysis done on my last (first for me) oil change---did I really want to know?!

Not too bad!

"This is a great looking BWM at 182,985 miles. Universal averages show typical wear levels for this type of engine after about 6,400 miles on the oil. This oil saw 7,500 miles and wear metals compare perfectly with averages. A lot of metals are actually lower than universal averages and you can't complain about that. The viscosity is in the 5W/40 range and that worked just fine. No fuel or coolant contamination is present and low insolubles and silicon show fine oil and air filtration. You can go longer on the oil if you want, but 7,500 miles is also a good interval."

A few hours with lettering the paint dry and doing a few other things. Keith has a good DIY on the coupe.

Thanks Patrick. Just suggested I do the VANOS which I will at some point. I just don't feel like another VCG at this point. I might consider having the adaptations cleared also.
