I don't really notice any poor audio etc. but it's a pain to have to unplug/replug the device every time I get back in the car. Also not having phone audio is not optimal.

That's so strange you have to do that. I still only have to do it once out of a dozen times if that. I have a Supertooth speakerphone strapped to my sun visor so calls go straight to that after it pauses music, then unpauses after the call is ended.

No audio issues. The iPhone 5S syncs automatically. If the car is driven a couple times without the phone, it becomes necessary to pair the phone again. But that takes 15 sec. I'm looking for BMW Bluetooth module to try and handle phone calls.
Also I'm awaiting a new 30 pin cable for the iSimple setup in the other car. When it arrives I'm going to try a different Bluetooth dongle in that car.
