    Avant Garde M310's FEEDBACK

Looking at a staggerd setup on my coupe. The Avant Garde m359's do not have a proper offset (et33) for the rear 18x9.5's. I was looking at the VMR v703's but there are no silver 18x9.5 ET45 anywhere in the country. After calling VMR, they say they don't have a delivery date on any more and may not get them again in that color or offset. I'm NOT spending BBS money. That leave the M310. I give up 1/2" both front and rear as the wheel sizes are 18x8 et35 and 18x9 et38...not my first choice. Does anyone have these 310's on their ZHP and are you happy with them? I'm going to run a 235/40-18 up front and a 265/35-18 in the rear. Avant Guard guarantee's fitment with the 255's but I figure they 265's will fit as its only .2" difference.
Any experiences with these wheels is appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Why not Apex wheels instead? Just a thought.

A couple people have run them and they are just a rep of the HRE P40 just like VMR. Honestly a 9" et38 will look good and fit 255-265 just fine.

Joop had the m359 but don't know the offsets I just know they looked great.

PIp, Joop had the 18x8.5 et35 square setup. I know because I did the same after getting his input on fitment. I love the look and ability to rotate tires. Jeff has seen my car but prefers the staggered setup.

I also have the same setup but VMR's. Looks great plus I can now rotate front to back!

Tkundhi is correct. I really like the staggard look and find the VMR 703 CSL "style" are my wheel of choice. A good friend has a set on his coupe in the 18x8.5 ET35 and 18x9.5 et40 running 235/40's up front and 265/35's in the rear. Just spent all weekend with him at the track and this setup shows no signs of rubbing. My coupe will become my daily driver as well as my new track car as I am retiring my E34 M5 from this duty. I will have the ZHP all sorted out over the winter and ready for next track season. That said, the front VMR wheels in Super Silver are available, but there are none available in the rear 9.5" et40 width available anywhere. I would already have these on the car but lack of availability is slowing this process. After talking to VMR directly, it appears they might not even be able to get anymore Super Silver rear wheels. I can get the Matte Black and Gunmetal finish with no problem. I may have to buy one of those colors for the rear and paint them to match. Modbargains offered to powdercoat them them for $150.00, but I'm concerned about the original color matching the powedrcoated wheels. I wish someone has a set of used rears in the 18x9.5 et40 for sale...lol. Will call them again this week, get some additional perspective on the potential color mismatch issue and make a decision.

I had the AG M310s for over two years. They look great, but if you're gonna track the car you should really get some apex wheels. They are stronger and much lighter.

Also, I would not recommend vmr. They are heavy and gravity cast meaning they will not be as strong as either avant garde or apex.
