The 17th annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival – “The Race at the Base” – is celebrating is 17th anniversary this year. Join thousands of race enthusiasts and fans in this premier motorsports event saluting our nation’s military.

8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until last race
Parking lot opens at 7:30 a.m.
Gates open at 8 a.m.

*Race 3 1969-1980 Sports Racing and Formula Cars

*Race 5 1959-1966 Production Cars – Disc Brake
*Race 6 1962-1966 Production Cars over 2500cc
*Race 7 1965-1988 FIA Manufacturer Championship Cars
*Race 8 Historic NASCAR – 1972 -
*Race 9 1966-1972 Historic Trans-AM

BMW CCA is doing ride alongs again this year in M cars. These will be present, but only the E92 will be giving ride alongs

to give you an idea of how loud those exhausts are, notice how you can't hear the guy talking as the cars go by even though the speaker is directly in front of me and only about 30ft away
