    Wow, that's really late in the year for a track event... at Jefferson Circuit no less. I'd shit my pants if I was on that circuit... not very safe.

    The average temperature on November 7 in 2013 at Summer Point was 47 degrees. That is very very cold for a track day; not really enough heat for the tires to properly stay warm... on a dangerous circuit, that is a recipe for disaster.

    I've run Summit Main in the early spring after a good overnight snowfall. Here is a photo after my off-track excursion due to some melting snow/water on the track and trying to rapidly depart from a corner.
