Skyline Drive Cruise/Meetup 2014

As per discussions in other threads, I wanted to create an "Official" interest/planning thread to get this off the ground:

Saturday October 25th, 2014

ITINERARY (Open to suggestions):

NoVA/MD/DC/anywhere folks meetup @ The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (tell yew whut!) in Manassas, VA.

Head out to Front Royal and meetup with Shenandoah Valley folks @ Naughty Girls Donut Shop.

Head to Skyline Drive entrance and make our way along the route enjoying the views!

Aim to eat dinner in Harrisonburg or Charlottesville, or Afton Mountain (Blue Mountain Brewery).

I am in and available on every day of the calendar.

As far as the drive, I think we all can meet up in Front Royal and take skyline drive south. Once we hit the bottom at Afton Mountain, we can either go to Harrisonburg or go to Charlottesville. OR we can grab food at Blue Mountain Brewery which is on Afton Mountain.

Just an idea.

Time wise. I would be meeting up with people at the earliest of 11AM.

I've only driven Afton mountain in a 28 foot box truck... only a few of them could do 55 mph up the hill, most only 40 optimistically. Sure would be fun in the bimmer though!

I'll edit the thread if we agree as a baseline group, hopefully we get some more folks! I'll be bringing all my photo gear and you can't beat the backdrops the Blue Ridge offers!
