    Wheel stud conversion doityourself

I don't think anyone has done a DIY for the wheel stud conversion. So here goes.

    Items needed:
    -Torque Wrench
    -5mm Allen head socket
-Threadlocker (red high strength Loctite Brand)
    -Impact (mine is electric)
    -Brake Cleaner
    -Shop towels (disposable)

    Here's the steps
-Call Ray and order your studs (Plug)

    -Remove Wheel

    -Clean out Bolt Holes

-Dab a drop or two of Threadlocker on the short thread end of the stud

-Torque down stud to 25 ft/lbs and repeat process

-Install wheels and torque down nuts as you would the wheel bolts.

-Repeat steps for all 4 wheels.

-Step back and enjoy your work.

    Great writeup!

The double nut method is an alternative option and the only option for those with bullet-nose ends instead of allen-wrench ends.

you should add which thread locker you used. since there are a lot of red ones and some of them don't hold up over time in my experience. also you should let it cure 24 hours.

Good point, I used high strength (permanent) red. Loctite brand. I've always had good luck with Loctite brand. Fixed it above.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!
