No joke. And it's coming back tomorrow :-( I may wash mine in the rain tomorrow!

Too cold for me to install them today. I am going to swap LCMs tomorrow to have it sent out for a reprogram. My $12 trim removal kit off amazon came in yesterday so I’ll be able to knock that out.

Well, turns out the GF accidentally got me the coupe tails or ECS accidentally sent the wrong set. She entered all the correct parameters when she ordered so I think it’s a mistake on their part. Either way, gotta send them back for the right ones.

Great thing was I had already pulled all the lights out and cleaned the mounting points on the body lol. Oh well, test run. Taking it apart the next time will be a breeze.

Spending the first of 10 weeks at quantico (this was week 1). The ZHP was dead last Sunday and figured hebattery was toast. Went and got an interstate replacement For $175 and it barely gave the starter a chance to crank before it turned over on a cold start. The duralast battery that the PO installed lasted 6 years. Back to operational status and under the car cover.

Hope the course is going well. I’m just out the back gate off Garrisonville Rd.

    It’s interesting so far.

My correct tail lights showed up, one of the protective coverings on a wire right at its connector is damaged/ripped so I’ll have to send this set back as well. Already called them and left a message.

Sometime during your training, you need to head over to the Globe & Laurel for lunch or dinner, it’s a must see for those who go thru the schools on the west side of Quantico. If you have it, bring one of your old LEO patches, they have quite the collection on the ceiling, they love it when you add one. And if you should get over there, my office is about a mile & a half south of the restaurant, I have a M-ATV inside right now and will have a JLTV stopping by a couple of times over the next few months. I’m doing lots of short trips to Oshkosh right now, 1-3 days each week, this is really freeze your ass off weather, last week the local weatherman called it a warming trend because the daily high would be in the high-teens.

Got my 3rd set of tails from ECS and his set has a damaged wire too. I sent them another lengthy email with documenting pictures. Waiting to see if they respond back, I’m beyond disappointed
