Did some work while waiting on the rest of the parts to arrive.
Drain and refill the trans with pentosin mtf-2
New genuine bmw fuel line from the hard line to the manifold.
New genuine bmw coolant temp sensor that is installed in the head.
New VDO crankshaft position sensor.
These items are preventative replacement but with nearing 200k I might as well nip it in the bud and replace.

Today I got the all the stuff installed under the intake and installed the intake manifold back on.
Next up is the radiator and the rest of the cooling system to install.

Buttoned up the car today. Love how quality oe BMW cooling parts just fit right. No struggle at all and was able to bleed the cooling system without any problems.
Ended up also replacing the 3 power steering hoses and reservoir and putting in fresh Liqui moly atf in it.
Mileage is at 188,509. Here is to another 100k.

I'm hoping for 250k+ for it.
Put 350 miles on it this week and not a single leak. Coolant in the expansion tank is right on point as well.
Btw the dual mass flywheel and factory clutch is really nice. Smooth engagement and no annoying noises compared to the single mass.
Next up is sway bar links and overhaul for the parking brake setup.

Luckily just a small amount. Usually about half a quart of oil over the 7500 mile oil change interval.
