Nice job, Vas.
Curious to hear how you like that shifter bushing. I installed the Garagistic one about 6 months after a complete shifter rebuild/DSSR installation and it made a huge difference.

Well done my friend. Very impressive.
Maiden voyage complete. Observations below.
Car fired right up. No weird noises between the old starter and new flywheel upon start up.
The clutch engagement point and pedal feel has changed. Before the clutch was right at the top and the feel was inconsistent. Now the engagement point is in the middle and easy to feel the exact point. The pedal feel is very OE aka on the softer side however that is not a bad thing. This clutch would be easy to deal with on a day to day basis especially in stop and go traffic.
The shifter feel is nice and crisp. Very enjoyable to row through the gears now.
As far as the single mass flywheel, I like it. Maybe it is just me but it does seem like the revs drop a tad quicker then before between gear changes.
Now the kicker as far as the chatter. I can't hear anything more audible then before with the dual mass. This is even with the a/c on or off and windows down. And before hand there was slight noise in neutral which sounded like something was loose and about to come apart in the gearbox.
I did drain the d4 atf redline fluid and pour in 1 quart of redline d4 atf and 1 quart of redline 75w140ns gear oil.
Now it's time to break it in gently. I will report back.

Vas, you're racking miles on your new clutch! I am glad to hear that.
Keep more miles coming. I am guessing it's your vacation. Where are you driving?

I'm really happy the single mass worked out for you Vas, amazing work doing that job solo. I completely feel your pain having to keep the car under 3000rpms and know exactly how bad that sucks. I had to drive slow for a week to get my emission ready sensors complete in the 135i when I got the stock cats on it.
