That steering wheel is trash. Won't even be good for a wrap job by Coby wheel.

I would expect an immaculate car with those miles.

The car overall looks nice but how the he** does the wheel get to be that bad before 50K miles? Something doesn't add up.

Probably lots of short trips or bumper-to-bumper traffic. Even there, my car sees that kind of use and I manage to keep it in good shape lol. Expect zero maintenance done and lots of TLC needed, but mileage certainly is attractive.

This. The rest of the car looks great (minus the dash). The steering wheel is a small price to pay for a nice clean car, assuming an in person examination checks out.

It's an 11 year old car. You could sit in the car for hours, rubbing on the steering wheel, putting zero miles on the car, and still have the steering wheel wear a lot. Long hours for short trips must've been what did that to the steering wheel, compounded by the likely lack of maintenance on the wheel as well.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

West Ashley is actually Charleston, SC (where my boys go to school). We have a member there Brian/Reckless. This could be a nice pick-up. My theory on the wheel is he uses it for a dog tug when he's not driving the car!

Do you think he had one of those sticky pads on the dash that keep cell phones form slipping and it reacted with the material and the heat? Note no heated seats also.

Price is reflective of this. Seems to know what he has, but even then..."255 horsepower" First thing I'd ask for is maintenance records. If it's been taken care of mechanically and was just the victim of "hours" over miles then it could be a great pickup.

Damn!! That's a very good price for a low mileage ZHP 6MT! As for the wear on the steering wheel....no biggie. The wheel can easily be replaced. Just get the car checked out to ensure there are no other "hidden" issues. If everything checks out then this is a great buy
