Pretty good deal for someone. Just as FYI to interested parties don't be fooled by others selling used sharks which lock to a vehicle (not this one).

Assuming this is new and not yet tied to your vehicle because you've been a long standing member.

Just thought I would share this info from another thread. This was a used Shark installed on the vehicle then return it to stock and sent the Shark back to Turner to be reset.


There is some confusion over how much it costs to reflash it. I have confirmation from Turner that as long as you are flashing the same software (ie. 330i/ci including zhp software, 2003-2006 models) it costs $50. Nothing wrong with the injector, I uninstalled/restored it properly.

Here is an email from an employee at Turner:

Hi Alex,
If you are using the same software file on a different vehicle, its $50.
If we are reprogramming the injector with a different software file, its $150.

Thanks for the info- but just to clarify... This one has never been plugged into any car, so no reflash needed unless you want it for a different model/software version... But at that point it would cost less to buy from a dealer most likely.

No. It programs itself to the car once you use it for the first time.

Just an FYI, this happened to me back in 2006. The Shark for my 1999 323i was under the Christmas Tree when I purchased my ZHP on Saturday December 23. It was returned without an issue.

Honestly, I feel bad returning it- so I'd rather sell it to someone with a Christmas discount, plus NO TAX!
