Ya the old one was still in good condition. Nice and soft.

Out with old. (The old pump was an aftermarket purchased 6 years ago from BAV Auto)

In with the new. (VDO purchased from FCP.)

I replaced the fuel filter/regulator and all three rubber hoses and hose clamps. It was the original filter with 199k miles.

Primed the pump and the car runs as it should and the driver side of the gas tank is now empty as it should be when the tank is below half full.

I used the gauge cluster fuel level test to monitor the levels.

0 Liters in the driver side and 19.0 Liters in the passenger side.

I then had to shower before I ate dinner because my hands and arms were covered in gasoline.
