Is the bracket on the M-Tech bumper replaceable?

Apparently my bracket on the bumper is broken (per my mechanic, I haven't taken the bumper off to look). Is it replaceable? It looks bonded on.

You could probably use something like this:

    http://www.jbweld.com/product/j-b-plasticweld-putty/
    BP
    2005 330i ZHP / 6MT
    Imolarot / Naturbraun
    2003 330iT / 6MT
    Orientblau / Naturbraun

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

I've seen it done (actually helped do it). Not sure how long-term a solution it is.

From what I've read, this appears to be a common issue with the M Tech bumper. Have any of you replaced the brackets? How difficult is it to remove the plastic cover & bumper in order to get back there to take a good look?

It's actually really easy to pull the bumper off. Just remove the screws in the fender splash guards that attach to it, disconnect the fog lights, and get a long extension to get to the two bigass torx bolts that go up from the bottom. I didn't have a big enough torx bit, but used a hex bit that fit well enough. Just had to work the bit out of the bolts after it inevitably got stuck.

    Sounds easy enough. Thanks man!
