    Hot climate option

Kind of a new guy lurking while trying to find a clean car. Besides high mileage at 85,000, one came up with a hot climate package. Trying to find out what this entails. I would be bringing the car to cold weather and don't wish to give up heated seats. Could be one the dumb question list, but thought I would throw it out. The dream would be Imola coupe with Alcantra, preferably 6 sp.

    Thanks Ed

It probably has to do with which CCV was installed

I thought I read somewhere that all US cars had the 'hot climate' package.

Heated seats were also available as a separate option, so Cold Weather Package isn't necessarily a requirement for having the heated seats.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

    Hot climate option

For reference, hot climate option on an E21 meant they installed AC (all US spec E21's got hot climate). I seriously doubt that's what it meant on E46. Although if in theory it means I could have got a factory AC delete car I would be interested to see what the center console looks like
