    New here. New to ZHP

    Hey guys,
So I have been looking around this forum for a few weeks and finally taking the time post up here. I was previously in the market for a new Honda Accord to replace my beat up 1996 accord with 230000 miles. It still ran good, but my parents offered to give me some money towards a new car so I jumped at the opportunity. I was taking my time in the search and my dad called me to ask if I was interested in a bmw. My mom had gone to the mechanic to pick up my brothers car and the mechanic told her about it. I did some research and pretty much bought it sight unseen. The mechanic was doing some stuff to it. Not really sure, but he said he fixed some leaks and put some new bushings. The outside is pretty much spotless. It had a clear bra that was hardened up, but it came off clean. Just left a fade line The wheels have some pretty bad curb rash too. I paid $6,500 for it and after being on this forum for awhile I feel like I got a great deal.
    So...
    2003 330i ZHP 128,000 miles
    6 speed
Not sure what the exact color is
    Grey leather
    Silver cube

    So far:
-35% tint all around and 70% on windshield
    -new radio knob
    -aux cable retrofit
    -clutch stop

    Planned mods:
-I just bought the racing dynamics CAI from beckel and it should be here this week.
    -Smoked corners and side markers
    -Coby wheel
    -new ZHP knob
-leather shift boot and brake boot
    -license plate eliminator (already bought)
-fix wheels and color wheels. I want to do a gun metal, but not sure if I want to paint or powder coat yet.
-I also want to change rear differential fluid and trans fluid

I am learning a lot from reading the posts on here but all advise is welcomed! I am a newby to German car but I love the ZHP so far.

This is right after I bought it before the tint.

    Cheers

Nice looking car! It looks the same as the Silver Gray (A08) on my ZHP.

What part of NC are you? There are several fellow NC ZHP owners who are on this forum. Congratulations on a great car and at a great price, too.

I'm in Wilmington. I grew up in High Point and my parents are from Asheboro. I will be in High Point and Badin Lake area the end of the month so I might be down to hit some Asheboro back roads.

I would be interested to find out more about the car. Unfortunately I don't have much service records, but I want to jump on preventative maintenance.

No it was in High Point. It was never advertised for sale.

Appreciate the compliments guys. So far I like the mafia family a lot. There is a real encouraging/anti bullying feel.
