congrats! looks awesome - love TiAg!

follow the cleaning instructions mike @ cobywheel has on his website - i've used them to help resurrect my alcantara wheel. you'll likely want to do it twice, at least.

excellent idea. i love the feel of a clean alcantara wheel, but for my uses (wife driving it as much as i do, plus the lack of time to clean it regularly), i opted for a tri-stitch leather M3 wheel. it feels great (wish it was perforated leather), and will be easier to maintain, for me. quick clean/condition when i do the seats and inserts on the door panels.

my car is also a kid-hauler - they work well for the enthusiast that needs to haul the family! i'm integrating some E38 cupholders into the rear seat or armrest for my kids - we do a lot of road trips and they could definitely make use of them. i'm also installing a curt trailer hitch for my new yakima 4-bike hitch-mounted bike rack (i also have a roof rack and 13cu-ft cargo carrier - this car does it all if you are willing to get creative ).

Jay if you're interested in getting a lit shifter knob then I'd recommend the F10 M5 lit shift knob. I have this installed in my M3 and it's very close to the ZHP shift knob in looks, fit and function. Best part is that it matches the BMW colors very well

Yes, those are tiny Styrofoam balls INSIDE the freaking lights. These are unusable like this, not sure what I am going to do.

The inner lights on the trunk were apparently left out in the garage a while, as they have oil and dust, again on the INSIDE of the lenses. Overall pretty rough, would not recommend buying these this way. Just get them from TMS and pay to play. Again, I need to figure out if there is a way to clean the insides of both sets of lights.

So after that fail, let's look at a small win:

Got the diff out! Thanks to everyone who answered my LSD install questions. Unfortunately the air tools did not help a lot here. They did help *some*, but there was a lot of hand cranking, breaker bar, extensions, etc. Not sure if it was the 20 Gal compressor with a leak, the condition of the air tools, or some fault of the extensions needed, but they were not as effective as I hoped. That rear diff mount laughed off the impact at 140PSI. S'ok though, it didn't laugh off me in Hulk mode with a breaker bar.

If anyone has ideas to clean the insides of the lights, LMK. Thanks for reading.
Glad to see you got the diff out...
