    Trams Noise / CCV assistance

Howdy all. A couple questions if you don't mind.

    1) High pitched noise from the clutch (at least that's what I think) when in lower RPMs (below 3500). When given throttle or at higher RPMs it goes away. When in lower RPMs, if I depress the clutch, the noise goes away.

    2) anyone in the DC metro area will in to help with a CCV replacement one weekend sometime in July or August.

    3) if I don't do the CCV as a DIY, anyone know how much a indie shop will charge for it. Have all the parts.

The ask guys and gals. Have a great weekend!

    Drew

You're welcome. I fully intended to do it myself in the coming months but they diagnosed a problem that I wasn't able to and it needed to be done a bit more urgently so I let them reap the fruits of their labor. Good luck with your's and your CCV!

    Trams Noise / CCV assistance

Gents. And update and assistance. I ended up taking the intake manifold off. Best way to do it.

Well. I missed a sensor. I'm not sure what it's for though. Anyone able to tell me? It's the one by the brown wire that is attached to nothing. The wire came out of he connector for this sensor. I'm getting a erratic idle

    Thanks.

In not entirely sure but it looks like it connects to the fuel breather valve...

Would that be causing my crazy idle?

I guess so... From the picture u posted, it also looks like u haven't connected the fuel vapor line from the canister also, apart from the sensor... I would guess that would cause ur erratic idle... Or u could have a leak in the intake boots as well, that can cause an erratic idle... Happened to my friend when he replaced his ccv, he didn't do a good job of tightening the intake boots...
