So I used search function but did t find anything about this. I recently changed my oil and afterwards my check filler cap was on. It went off after messing with it a bit, but now is sporadically coming on and off. Has anyone encountered this issue or know how the sensor works?

No I have not. It is random when it comes on and off. I think maybe there is just a bad connection of sorts

Could be. My dad's light came on during a drive with me on Saturday. I'll post here if anything changes.
For him it seems to come on about 2-5 minutes after starting and then stays on.
