i have not had any of those issues. when i am listening to a song and stop/get out of my car: i come back and start the car up and it will resume play but if i switch to a different song, say the next on the list, it won't go to that next song but will instead act as if its on "shuffle". i have to exit the iPod "app" and then go back in for it to resume normal functionality.

other than that i have no issues with the unit.

Gary, can you sum up which is the best bang for the buck as far as overall functionality (w/ OEM Nav)?

The GM5150 for an iPhone user or the GA5150 if you are an Android guy. You have to make sure to get the proper cable to go from the trunk to the deck from Eonon which is sold seperately.

The New GA5150F Android unit looks pretty sweet, and it looks like the new cable for replacing OEM Nav works best with this and the GA5150.
