VIN tag is missing on trunklid (should be visible behind where license plate would be), indicating possible rear end body work. At their asking price, I'm guessing it's got a salvage title. If so and not stated in CL ad - shame on the dealership.

People can't lie on the internet, right?
While I was looking I asked every single seller if their car had a clean title. Probably 1/4 of the time they would say there had been an accident and it was actually salvage but "like new" even though their ad said "clean title." I never trust it until I hear it from the owner, and even then get a CarFax (although those aren't infallible).
You guys are good. Proceed with caution.
