    I run 255/40R17 Nitto NT-01s for trackdays on a set of Apex ARC-8. Stock suspension, no issues with rubbing. I would be leary of 255/45, particularly if you are lowered. There is a thread about "meaty" tires with pics of cars on 17s.

    I'm on 18" ARC-8's so this may not help... I am at an 18x9.5 +35mm square setup. Tires are 235/40/18's. I *barely* had to roll all 4 fenders, and I am running about -.5 camber in the front and -1.5 in the rears. Zero rubbing whatsoever.

    Got the rubber on this morning. 17x8.5 Arc-8, Hyper-black, 245/40/17 Continental DWS06. I am on stock springs, but I have about 115 pounds of 135s in the back seat and subwoofer box in the trunk. No rubbing or fit issues.
