actually, it does. botond, i've owned almost 30 cars in my 20 years of driving... and looked at way more than that during the buying process. and, statistically - the 1-owner cars are always the best. it's because the owners expect to keep it for a long time and they take care of it. when cars change hands often... stuff invariably gets either repaired badly or not repaired at all. i've looked at a lot of poorly-repaired multi-owner cars.

i will always go and check out the 1-owner cars first.

I disagree. There are lots of 1 owner cars out there that still aren't treated the way they should be. I look through the classifieds on occasion for cars I might be interested in and have found numerous "1 owner cars" that have obvious cosmetic and/or mechanical flaws and few maintenance records, just like any car that could have been owned by 2 or 3 people. Not all the folks who are the original owner even follow any sort of maintenance schedule, just fix stuff when it breaks.

I'm just saying that "1 owner car" should be taken with a grain of salt and isn't indicative of anything.


I hope this Oxford car was well taken care of for whoever ends up buying it. Considering the owner knows how rare this color combo is, I'm hoping s/he put in the required maintenance keep the car a worthy purchase.
