Haha, no problem. I think I need new control arms at 170,000 miles myself, I got the low speed clunk but have to wait because of my job situation. I will only go with new arms because it is really the only way to figure it out. Good luck with whatever route you choose to figure it out.
I apologize right up front for digging up this old thread, but I was under my car tonight and saw this label on my control arms and was curious if this was the original control arm or a replacement? Of the many threads on control arms, I felt like I was pulling the scab off the wound by resurrecting ANY of these threads
But this was the only thread I could find that showed the same label as mine... Thanks VAS
So I'm assuming mine are the originals at 85K miles. No issues but curious

Only the genuine bmw control arms have the sticker.
The oe replacement units from lemforder do not have them and neither do the meyle ( do not recommend those )
However my guess is the ones on your car are the same ones that left the factory. The zhp control arms have metal ball joints so they last alot longer.
