How to replace the D2S ?

I have the AL headlights and wanted to replace the bulbs to the Osram CBI. Is there a step by step on how to replace the bulbs on the driver and the passenger side?

Pretty easy to do just remember Do Not touch the bulb. If you need to clean it use alcohol and a nice soft cloth.

Make sure the bulb is seated flush in the housing and snap the retainer back on. Test them before you snap the covers back on just incase.

Take a look at the video below showing how to replace the D2S bulbs on a 2004+ facelift coupe. Verts should be similar...

I know changing out the D2S bulbs for coupe/verts are slightly different from sedans/M3s as the headlight assemblies are different. Hope this helps

you could still do it with the washer in place. just have to do a bit of pushing to get the cover off. then it's exactly the same as my video linked by cakM3. but i would take off the washer to make it easier lol there's only one 10mm bolt holding it. so just take that off and push it aside and you're good.
