Heated Seat, DSC panel missing Harmon Kardon and sun shade switch

    Hey guys,

New here. Just picked up a 2005 ZHP and ran across the craziest thing. The car has a rear sun shade (factory option, I have the window sticker) and the HK sound system. It appears the panel is missing both the HK button and the sun shade button. The panel that is there now has the heated seats, dsc and a custom 3mm aux jack someone hacked in. I have no idea why anyone would swap the panel out and do this. WTF?! The rear sun shade is even up and theres no way to put it down. Any clues why someone would be dumb enough to do this?

Also Im trying to find the correct panel but it has been a nightmare. I guess its really rare to have the rear sun shade button. I found one in Sweden but I can't read the site to try and order it. https://www.allabildelar.se/p/BMW/Bm...487602/8379757

Also I have no idea if my car is suppose to have the tire pressure monitor button. Not sure if ZHP's came with this option. Is there away way I can figure this out? I want to make sure I get the right panel.

Thanks, I have been searching for like 12 hrs and can't find anything.

    Interesting.
Well, here are the part numbers I found for what you could buy new from BMW.

Finding that exact panel like in your link seems like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack.

    Good luck man!

Run your Vin number through a vintage decoder to see what options the car has

A tidbit of info that might help you in your search:
If your car is a sedan, then you do not have TPMS.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Thanks. It is a sedan, so I guess it rules that out.

Also just ran vin and didn't see it in there.

What's wrong with having a few extra buttons? When I did the heated seat retrofit the button panel that came with the kit from BMW had the TPMS and rear sunshade buttons which my car doesn't have. Panel still works fine
