My parents got into a bad car accident recently - side airbags saved their lives. Looking to get a car with side airbags/better safety features.

There were a bunch of recalls on the airbags for the ZHP's. Mine in particular Coupe Vert had recalls on the front airbags and passenger side airbags. So do yourself a favor and if you're in the market, make sure you check that the proper recalls for airbags were taken care of.

Many will have done the passenger's side airbag recall, but not many will have had the driver's side replaced since that is more recent. BMW's only replacing them either for cars located in or delivered to Hawaii and Florida (I think).

Welcome. And, what he said. Besides, If recall wasn't done it's still going on and it's no charge so don't make that a condition for purchase.
