Budget ZHP build (E46 Inside)

Hello again. I sold my first Zhp sedan a few years ago to build a track car "Budget Track Car (E36 Inside)". Today we added another BMW to our stable. We purchased a 2003 ZHP Sedan Alpine White 6 speed manual (of coarse). It was purchased relatively cheap, it needs some tlc, but still very nice and runs flawlessly for 170k miles. I plan to bring the ZHP back to great condition cosmetically, perform basic maintenance, and modify the suspension/brakes to handle track duty. I would like to improve the suspension for my driving style, but also to have the car trackable for my wife. I plan for her to start tracking with me occasionally. Hopefully she ends up as addicted as I am. So another project thread starts now. Enjoy

The car was purchased with out wheels. It had M-Pars on it when we viewed it. We were offered the stock wheels with out tires, but they were in very poor condition. I was able to purchase the car quite a bit cheaper with out wheels. So we made the deal, and I showed up with the Fikse wheels that are normally on my E36 M3 to drive her home. That's ok because I have a wheel problem, lol. I currently have wheels for a dozen cars when we own five.

very cool. i just did the suspension overhaul you want to do, albeit with more streetable dampers (bilstein PSS). i highly recommend the bimmerworld sealed spherical RTABs.

Thanks guys! I am very stoked to be back in the Zhp. It was a great drive home today. There's still a lot I want to do to the "Track Car", but I will definitely be having some fun with this. Having it reminded me of how it's not so special, lol. Awesomeness!
