I've had the H&R touring CupKit for a few months now. I've put about 5-8k on the kit and for a daily driver you couldn't ask for more. The car is definitely stiffer than stock so there goes any doubt about that. From what I understand the lowering is the same as H&R sport springs but they are matched to the H&R shocks/struts. Some say they are the same springs. Either way, the ride height is perfect for me.
I also did 3 AutoX events and that is where this kit does not deliver very well. I know this kit wasn't meant for that but when I bought it I didn't think I'd be autocrossing again. Don't get me wrong, it does a fine job but for someone that has done a few other events with cars with coilovers this will disappoint. For someone that is just starting out and not doing many events this is perfect. What I noticed in really tight corners is that the dampeners are not stiff enough. You can feel the car ride on the spring and the car leans into corners a lot. I installed sway bars and that has remedied the problem slightly but the shocks leave a lot to be desired in that regards. I will be buying coilovers come spring just because I plan on doing a full season of autocross this year and my car will no longer be used as much.
TL;DR
Great kit for a daily driver/occasional sprited driving. Good lows
Not well dampened for autocross
And now on snow tires
