    Welcome!

I feel like I have seen your M3, perhaps at Lars Anderson? Somehow I've stumbled on to your website in your signature before as well. Is that your shop?

I'm only 90 minutes south of you in MA. Fine collection you have there.

I don't think I've had the E30 on display at Larz - I spend more time driving it than showing it anymore.
Yes, VSR is the shop that my father and I own, about 45 minutes North of Boston up Rt. 93. Always lots of fun and exciting project going on alongside the normal daily service.

    Thanks for the kind words.

3 years later... still have the ZHP.
I've put ~70k miles on it since I picked it up.

    Maintenance items include:
1x CCV system overhaul (BMW OE Insulated)
    1x Engine thermostat (OE)
    1x Pair FCAB (OE)
    1x Oil pan gasket (OE)
1x Oil filter stand gasket (OE)
    1x VANOS Line (Rein)
    1x Rear main seal (OE)
1x Dual mass flywheel and clutch kit as "while you're in there" doing the RMS (LuK & Sachs)
2x Valve cover gaskets (one due to frozen CCV) (OE)
1x Power steering cooler line (OE)
1x Complete set of brakes (Rotors, pads, sensors, etc.) (Textar rotors, Akebono pads)
    1x Alternator (Bosch)
    3x Cabin Air filters
    2x Engine Air filters
    1x Fuel Filter (Mahle)
1x Pair fog light assemblies (ZKW)
1x set of Continental DWS tires
.5x set of Dunlop DZ102 tires
3,456,721x pairs of OE style wiper blades (Valeo or Bosch) - not "aero blade style)
Pending: MAF replacement I expect in near future

Engine Oil & filter every 5k, one additional complete fluid service since acquisition (Redline fluids in driveline, ATE Typ200 brake fluid, BMW OE anti-freeze)

It brought my wife to the hospital to deliver our first child, and has served it's "daddy-mobile" purpose flawlessly with the kiddo in the backseat (rear facing still at 2 years old). I put ~100 miles a day on it at 80-85mph.

After 3 years, the "rechromed" headlight bowls I purchased and installed have degraded to the state of the originals. Not surprising, it's the same method as the originals. But I will say, light output was always "off" after installation. Light intensity was better, meaning more light in front of the car, but the beam pattern was never correct. I suspect this is a result of the "refurbished" bowl repair, which was not a perfect contour as originals. No real complaints from me given the price point of what these refurb'd bowls cost at the time.

I'll likely pull the headlights apart and install this kit next:
    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...kw-repair.html

I searched, but didn't see anyone else who had used these here, which struck me as odd. Did I miss someone's install/feedback thread?

Aside from that, I have no reason to let the car go anytime soon.
~207k miles and counting. Doesn't burn a drop of oil, and no longer leaks any after the oil pan gasket replacement.

    Pending items I anticipate:
-Coby wheel to replace dirty but un-torn OE alcantara wheel
    -Refinish front bumper (stone chips)
-Drive it! Love it! Rinse and Repeat!
