As the subject says, I'm looking for a softer ride, without too much sacrifice in grip. Open to all recommendations.
I'm running the stock ZHP style 135, staggered.
Thanks!
Paul

Thanks--should have said I don't care about all-season.
I'm running the bmw recommended pressure.
Top 3 choices are michelin pilot supersport, Bridgestone s04, and Continental Conti pro contact dw for summer tires.

What do you mean by softer? Most all seasons including the a/s 3s are more compliant than say pilot super sports. What have you done to your suspension ?

Stock suspension, I'd just like a little less sharpness, and wondering if it's possible with tires.
How old is your suspension in terms of miles and years?
Change of tires might give you some more ride comfort, but probably not much. Our cars' stock tires have pretty short sidewalls and as such aren't too forgiving. Some people try and improve ride comfort with softer shocks/struts or going down to a smaller wheel diameter so there's more sidewall, along with a more pliable tire compound.
the AS/3's are a very nice riding tire.
i think you might want to go down to 17" wheels.
