It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

    New owner 2004 330ci ZHP LS3/T56 swap

It was a great day trip to your place Peter, your a real bmw enthusiast and a true gentleman. Ill start by saying that your car is the definition of sorted. From the get go i was really excited about my car's power and ridiculous torque, but I wasn't convinced about the platforms ability until I drove yours. Its so confidence inspiring and rewarding to drive. There is quite a few littles things a need to sort out on mine so I will star a build thread somewhere on this forum.

Now that I'm back from my 6 mths assignment, I should have time to keep you guys updated.

likewise gus, it was great! thanks for the kind words about my car. it was definitely a labor of love (and not wise finances ).

can't wait to see the progress on your car. it's going to be mega.

How are you liking the LS swap? Have you done any upgrades?

I’m considering an LS swap in my touring. Then find a home for the ts3 m54b30

The LS swap is great! Loads of torque and the e46 platform is very forgiving. The car loses a bit of its refine German car feeling and becomes a bit more raw, but thatís all good. Iím missing AC but otherwise very easy to live with. I have an Arduino device that allows the GM signal to feed the bmw gauge cluster, so thatís good. I didnít the swap myself. I have been focusing on rebuilding all the bushing/ball joints, suspension components and RCAP reinforcement (a must). Therefore Iím not positive on how much it would cost but itís surely more than one might think.

    Go for it!!

Will you incorporate AC at later date?
