I would get a new one. That one looks like it's on its last legs! At least that one will get the job done for now.
The part numbers are:
11611727176 - this is the larger 7mm cap
11611437560 - this is the smaller cap
Save these because RealOEM has these items greyed out, as in, not listed!
I swear my App never tells me when anyone responds to me, I'm so sorry to only respond a month late lol
But I will deff be replacing these [3] caps this coming weekend, I just performed a full Cold Climate CCV service along side a new dipstick O-Ring and a few new vacuum lines.
Serviced my Intake manifold and found a lot of surprises -_-..
I broke down everything and decided to completely remove my Intake Manifold for a clean sweep of everything on this side of the intake again, I cleaned the ICV and DISA Spring of this year and everything still looked mint, my Disa may need a new gasket in the future but it's fine for now.
I found I was missing the cap with "az3579" 's assistance (thanks again bud!)
I'll be replacing those this coming weekend as a final touch, but I got to see my valves which all look healthy and in good working order, there weren't scorch marks anywhere, everything was very tidy.
I managed to replace as many vacuum lines as I could find in my immediate field of view, when removing my Intake Manifold, one of the hoses was so corroded from the CCV that in one simple soft lift, it snapped in 3 pieces leaving only the clip-on elbow attached, this hose was from the separator to the oil dipstick.
My car was shipped up from Pensacola, Florida.. and after the recent natural disasters, I'd like to believe I saved "one of the manuals"
Cosmetically my car is lacking, a peeling clear coat, and a constant swirl through out the paint, but she run's like hell and thats all I care about until I graduate with my BFA this December
I think my rear axles may either be going bad or are loose, does anyone know of a full proof methodology to inspecting the rear end?
I've always wanted an E46 M3 rear end, so that may have to happen after this winter lol -_-
This is the only photo I took as I was following an extremely detailed DIY guide, sorry!
Next up is my LONG over due Valve Cover Gasket, Spark Plugs, Vanos Seals, Anti Rattle Kit and the new crush washers for the Vanos Oil Line
All it needs is vanos seals, but I like to get a detailed job done anytime I'm under the hood for peace of mind and longevity.
Thanks for viewing!
Good stuff
