That's not an OEM E46 M3 knob. The OEM E46 M3 shifter knobs are all one piece leather shift knob/boot. They are not seperate. I don't remember mine looking like that when I first got my M3....
Still...the shift knob does look like it is in excellent shape. Should still make for a nice addition for anyone who buys thisGLWS!
