Front tires ZHP, stock wheels. How wide can I go?

I haven't been able to bring up much in a search, I be a noob.

How wide can I go on the stock wheels and suspension of my ZHP coupe?

The PO installed 275-35-18's on the rear, and my ricer logic tells me to put 245-40-18 on the front for a uniform diameter, but I am not sure if it will work and play nice with all those pretty M suspension parts.

    Help?

Mmmm....I think you may be able to get 245's on the front.....odds are 235's would be safe.

How do those 275's fit on the rear? Pretty snug? Pics please.

I am not sure, I just recently bought the car from a friend. He tried to replace the CCV system with his own homebrew hosery. It did not end well.

I have a good friend at a local BMW shop fixing it and replacing the entire CCV system, and anything else it needs. I have honestly never driven the car except onto and off of the trailer I used to pick it up.

I would love to just use stock sizing, but the rear 275's are brand new, and even a set of 255's are really expensive when there are a set of brand new rears on there... I'm kind of cheap to an extent.

So.....you have stock style 135's all the way around correct?

And you currently have 225's on front?

Correct, though the front tires are showing cords. Stock suspension, stock wheels, with proper widths and offsets, but with 275-35-18 on the rear.

ok.......so.......I think you should just go with 235's max in the front. Period. I'm not gonna make you calculate the clearance...etc...etc....

I need a pic of the ass of your car....asap.

I'll tell the tire shop to quote me the 235's, and I'll get a pic of the rear tomorrow, assuming it is not in the air on a hoist at the shop.

Takes pics in the air. I love pics.

Just recognize that 225's are stock for the zhp....on the front.

Stock setup = Wider Tires: 225/40ZR-18 in front and 255/35ZR-18 in the rear.

I know, the 225's on it just look so stretched on the wheels, and there appears to be a bit of extra clearance to the side of the strut.
