    Charlie's 2008 Porsche 997 turbo

I sourced this kit from FCP Euro in preparation for my upcoming Porsche maintenance

I will source this next then overhaul my brakes

Having lifetime warranty for these kits brings peace of mind when sourcing “wear” parts which will save money in the long run

First time since winter started I pulled my speed sled out to warm her up a bit and enjoy sitting in her… I sure missed being inside her

Took a few daylight pictures of her metal door handles. They look so good adding more quality to an already amazing car

I got the front rotor/brake refresh kit... just waiting on a few more things before starting maintenance on my Porsche. I will also be taking the front bumper off so that I can replace the failed low tone horn and check my front radiator to make sure everything is good...

    Charlie's 2008 Porsche 997 turbo

This afternoon I looked at the Porsche Configurator and built a new Porsche 992 just for kicks and came up with this...

The color is Shark Blue. It is an $3270 option (D7).

Interior has Chalk stitching over full black leather interior with ventilated seats.

This is the car I would build brand new if $200k was not an issue.... unfortunately it is and I am very content to be keeping my 997 turbo instead

This Saturday will start my maintenance cycle for 2021... I will be refreshing my front brakes on the Porsche then taking off my front bumper to clean off my front radiator and change out my low tone horn and HID fog ballasts... I still have a few more maintenance items to complete on the speed sled as the car is approaching it's 60k mile milestone... still perfect in every way. What an amazing car this is!

    Charlie's 2008 Porsche 997 turbo

The front brakes have been refreshed and I now have to source the rear brake refresh kit so I can complete swapping out my rear rotors, brake pad sensors, brake pads and caliper hardware then I can get the engine oil changed out as well as prepare my car for it's 60k mile service

I haven't been driving my Porsche as much this car season and have been focusing primarily on my two BMWs this year....
