Like tinting tail lights, there are those who love them and there are those who don't care too much for them. As you have said it is a matter of personal preference.

I like the clear look of these Dectane tail lights as well but I have always had tinted tail lights on my BMWs so I figured I'd give these a try. Still on the fence whether or not I will keep them. I will give this look a chance.

Good call on giving this a chance. I'm guessing you will decide to keep them smoked so your 3 cars match.

    I like it Charlie.

But I'm the guy who totally ruined my M3 with the cheap eBay looking CF lip, colored rounders and tinted LED turn signals.

I'd vote for the clear, though the smoked doesn't look bad. I find myself liking the less modified look (for most things) as I get older...I realize that the lights themselves are aftermarket...

Yep.... the look is not for everyone, especially when you're doing this to a Porsche... I have been told I ruined my Porsche by using "Korean-made parts" referring to my 997.2 style tail lights... SMFH So far I have been getting positive comments from both fellow Porsche owners here in my area and from the dealer where I service my Porsche...
